LGBTQIA+ Affirming Counselling in Hobart

Are you looking for a safe space where all of you is welcome?

You want a therapist that actually sees you. You want a space where you don’t have to explain your identity or worry about being misunderstood. Somewhere you can speak freely and be met with curiosity and care.

Maybe you’re questioning your gender or sexuality. Maybe you’ve known who you are for a long time, but the world hasn’t always made it easy to exist in that truth. You might be navigating complex relationships, exploring polyamory, or trying to make sense of the way past experiences are still impacting your life.

You might be carrying stories of shame, rejection or invisibility. Maybe you’re just tired of having to shrink yourself to fit into spaces that were never made for you.

I still remember the first time I sat across from a queer therapist. I didn’t have to code-switch or explain myself. My identity was seen, not questioned. That moment stayed with me, and it’s what I now aim to offer to others.

I provide LGBTQIA+ counselling in Hobart and across Nipaluna, and I also offer online therapy to clients throughout Tasmania and the rest of Australia. My practice is inclusive, trauma-informed and welcoming of neurodiverse clients.

This space is for you. You can bring your full self, including the messy parts. We’ll explore what’s been weighing you down, what patterns keep showing up, and what it might look like to live more fully in your truth.

Clients often come to this work because:

  • They’re exploring or reclaiming gender or sexuality

  • They feel stuck in people-pleasing or find it hard to ask for what they need

  • They want support that affirms polyamory or non-traditional relationships

  • They’ve experienced trauma and want to feel safe in their body and relationships again

  • They want to build self-trust, deepen their values, and feel more connected to themselves

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need somewhere you can land and be heard. I’ll meet you there.
