About Me

I’m a clinical social worker with extensive experience supporting people through complex trauma and mental health challenges. I spent several years working in a remote desert region of Central Australia, and those experiences, along with my own lived journey, shape how I work. I’m now based in Hobart/Nipaluna.

Long before I became a therapist, I was a client. I know what it’s like to sit in that chair, feeling unsure or vulnerable. That perspective is always with me. I aim to offer therapy that feels validating and useful, where you feel genuinely seen and supported. I want you to leave each session with something that helps, even in a small way.

I’m a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and I’m also an ADHDer. I bring a neurodivergent lens to my work and understand how much creativity and flexibility it can take to navigate a world that often isn’t set up for us. I’m also a non-conformist by nature. I don’t do therapy in a one-size-fits-all way. I work relationally, intuitively and with a deep respect for who you are and where you’ve been.

Outside of sessions, I’m usually out in nature or recharging at home with my cat and a book. Both keep me grounded and able to show up fully with my clients. If you’re looking for a therapist who’s warm, real, and brings both lived experience and professional skill, I’d love to connect.

My style

I believe that you're more capable than you think.

Life’s challenges are like personal mountains, each unique to the climber.
We’re all scaling our own peaks, and from where I stand, I can offer a fresh perspective on yours. My goal isn’t to “fix” you but to walk alongside you, providing insights to help illuminate your path.

We’re all human, neither broken nor perfect.
Our first session is about understanding your experiences, challenges, and goals. Together, we’ll explore therapeutic approaches that resonate with your needs and begin crafting a collaborative treatment plan, equipping you with the confidence and tools to move forward.

What sets me apart?
If you feel overwhelmed by what lays ahead, know this: it can get better. You don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here as both a therapist and an ally, committed to helping you find clarity, strength, and ease on your journey to a life that sees you thriving.

My guiding principles

Inclusivity and Diversity

We welcome clients of all ethnicities, religions, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, professions, and relationship structures with open arms and respect.

Trauma-informed

Prioritising safety, understanding, and respect to sensitively navigate and support your healing journey.

Self Determination

Guided by you, shaped by me. Placing control in your hands for a collaborative therapy journey that truly reflects your needs and goals.

Non-Pathologising Approach

Some of us wear labels with pride, while others do not. Regardless, I am here to celebrate and support you as a person. I see you as capable and resilient in responding to life’s challenges.
