Inclusive Counselling in Hobart, Tasmania

ONLINE AND IN-PERSON

  • You’re ready to change the relationship you have with yourself and others, but something keeps getting in the way.

Big emotions can leave you feeling disconnected. You want to honour what you’re feeling without being flooded by it, but sometimes it feels like too much all at once.

You’re exploring who you are. Maybe you’re questioning your neurotype, gender, sexuality or relationship style. You want a space where you can show up as your full self without having to explain or translate.

You’re finding it hard to speak up for your needs. You want to set boundaries or say no, but instead you keep people-pleasing or carrying the emotional load for others.

There’s anxiety, restlessness, sleepless nights or painful memories that keep showing up when you least expect them. You’re tired of the past leaking into the present, but not sure how to move forward.

Hi, I’m Alanna (they/she)

Clinical Social Worker | Hobart Therapy

Inclusive Minds was created as a space for therapy that feels warm, conversational, and genuinely human.

Many people come to see me when they’re looking for a therapist they can actually talk to, someone who keeps things relaxed and collaborative, while still helping them make meaningful progress.

I work with women (including trans women), men, nonbinary and gender-diverse individuals, LGBTQIA+ folks, and allies seeking support with anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem, identity, relationships, trauma, and long-standing patterns.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply wanting a better relationship with yourself, therapy offers a space to slow things down, untangle what’s going on, and move forward in a way that feels steady and manageable.

What’s On Your Mind?

In our sessions, you’re welcome to speak openly about whatever’s on your mind, no need to edit yourself or get things “right.”

I offer a space that is warm, grounded, and free from judgment, where thoughts, emotions, and experiences can be explored safely.

Our conversations may also acknowledge the broader contexts shaping your life, including culture, identity, power, and lived experience.

While therapy can involve navigating difficult emotions, it can also include moments of lightness. Humour often finds its place in the room, creating space to breathe, release tension, and reconnect with perspective.

When you feel ready to begin, you’re very welcome to reach out.
