Are you looking for a safe space where all of you is welcome?

You want a therapist that actually sees you. You want a space where you don’t have to explain your identity or worry about being misunderstood. Somewhere you can speak freely and be met with curiosity and care.

Maybe you’re questioning your gender or sexuality. Maybe you’ve known who you are for a long time, but the world hasn’t always made it easy to exist in that truth. You might be navigating complex relationships, exploring polyamory, or trying to make sense of the way past experiences are still impacting your life.

You might be carrying stories of shame, rejection or invisibility. Maybe you’re just tired of having to shrink yourself to fit into spaces that were never made for you.

I still remember the first time I sat across from a queer therapist. I didn’t have to code-switch or explain myself. My identity was seen, not questioned. That moment stayed with me, and it’s what I now aim to offer to others.

I provide LGBTQIA+ counselling in Hobart and across Nipaluna, and I also offer online therapy to clients throughout Tasmania and the rest of Australia. My practice is inclusive, trauma-informed and welcoming of neurodiverse clients.

This space is for you. You can bring your full self, including the messy parts. We’ll explore what’s been weighing you down, what patterns keep showing up, and what it might look like to live more fully in your truth.

Clients often come to this work because:

  • They’re exploring or reclaiming gender or sexuality

  • They feel stuck in people-pleasing or find it hard to ask for what they need

  • They want support that affirms polyamory or non-traditional relationships

  • They’ve experienced trauma and want to feel safe in their body and relationships again

  • They want to build self-trust, deepen their values, and feel more connected to themselves

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need somewhere you can land and be heard. I’ll meet you there.

  • The length of therapy varies for each person. Some people benefit from short-term support, while others find long-term therapy helpful. Here are a few things to consider when thinking about therapy duration:

    • Your goals: If you have specific issues to work through, like coming out or managing identity-related stress, a few months of focused sessions might be enough. For more complex issues like healing from trauma or navigating family dynamics, longer-term therapy can be more supportive.

    • Your pace: Therapy is not about rushing to reach a milestone. Some people feel ready to explore deeper topics quickly, while others prefer a slower approach, especially when working through identity, relationships, or self-acceptance.

    • Life transitions and challenges: Major life changes such as coming out, beginning a new relationship, or transitioning—often bring people back to therapy. You might work with a therapist intensively for a period, then take a break, returning as new challenges or goals arise.

    • Personal preference: Therapy is a personal journey. You’re encouraged to set the pace that feels right for you. Many people in LGBTIQA+ affirming therapy find ongoing sessions beneficial for personal growth, regardless of immediate challenges.

Ultimately, therapy is there to support you as long as you feel it’s helping you move towards self-acceptance, resilience, and well-being. Learn more.
